Types of extension & conversion

Single-Storey Rear Extension

The most common type. Adds kitchen, dining or living space. Often permitted development — no planning required.

Double-Storey Extension

Extends both floors for maximum space gain. Usually requires planning permission but excellent value per sq ft.

Loft Conversion

Converts unused roof space into a bedroom, office or bathroom. Dormer, hip-to-gable and Velux types available.

Garage Conversion

Transforms an integral or attached garage into habitable space. Cost-effective and usually permitted development.

Basement & Cellar Conversion

Brings below-ground space into use. Requires waterproofing, structural work and drainage — we handle all of it.
